Searching and filtering

How to search and filter your device inventory in Restock.

Each device type list has a search bar. What you can search depends on the device type:

  • Phones, Tablets, Smartwatches — Search by IMEI or serial number. Enter either value and the list shows matching devices. When you search by IMEI, the IMEI column in the results table is highlighted so you can spot the match quickly.
  • Other device types (Laptops, Headphones, Misc, Gift Cards) — Search by serial number (or the relevant identifier for that type).

Type your search term and the list updates to show only matching items.

Filters​

You can narrow the list using filters:

  • Status — Filter by item status, such as In Stock or Sold. Choose a status from the filter dropdown to see only devices in that status.
  • Model — Filter by a specific device model. Choose a model to see only devices of that model.

Filters work together with search. You can have both a search term and one or more filters active at the same time; the list shows items that match all of them.

Sorting​

Most columns in the device list are sortable. For example, you can sort by:

  • Device name (brand, model, storage, carrier)
  • Model
  • Storage
  • Color
  • Battery health

Click a column header to sort by that column (ascending). Click the same header again to switch to descending order. Use this to quickly find devices by a particular attribute or to bring certain rows to the top.
