Bulk entry

How to add multiple entries to a buy order at once in Restock. Use bulk entry when you are receiving several devices in the same order and want Restock to create the item rows for you.

Steps​

Add devices with Bulk IMEI Processing​

Use Bulk IMEI Processing when you have IMEI numbers and want Restock to look up device details automatically.

  1. Open Buy Orders and create a new buy order, or open an existing draft.
  2. In the Items section, select Bulk IMEI Processing.
  3. Add IMEIs using one of these methods:
    • Select Scan with Camera to scan IMEI barcodes or IMEI text from device screens.
    • Paste or type IMEIs into the IMEI Numbers field.
  4. Enter one IMEI per line, or separate IMEIs with commas.
  5. Select Process IMEI Numbers.
  6. Wait for Restock to process the list. For larger batches, the progress bar shows how many IMEIs have been checked.
  7. Review any prompts:
    • If an IMEI is already in inventory, Restock shows it in an Items Already in Inventory modal and does not add it again.
    • If Restock cannot determine the device type, choose the device type or skip those IMEIs.
  8. Review the new entries in the order, then update any condition, cost, or device details that need adjustment.
  9. Add payment information if needed, then select Save.

Add identical devices with Quick Add Multiple​

Use Quick Add Multiple when you are receiving several devices with the same type, condition, cost, and specs.

  1. In the Items section, select Quick Add Multiple.
  2. Choose the Device Type and Condition.
  3. Enter the Quantity and Cost Each.
  4. If you already have IMEIs or serial numbers, paste them into IMEI/Serial Numbers.
    • Use one identifier per line, or separate identifiers with commas or semicolons.
    • Restock automatically adjusts the quantity to match the number of identifiers.
  5. Fill in the required device details, such as brand and model.
  6. Add optional repair details if the devices need repair tracking.
  7. Select Generate Entries.
  8. If Restock finds duplicate identifiers or identifiers already in inventory, choose whether to remove those conflicts and continue or cancel to edit the list.
  9. Review the generated entries, add payment information if needed, then select Save.

Tips​

  • Use Bulk IMEI Processing when each IMEI should be checked and populated automatically.
  • Use Quick Add Multiple when the devices are the same and you want to enter shared details once.
  • Keep one IMEI or serial number per line when possible. It makes the list easier to review before processing.
  • Always review generated entries before saving, especially condition, cost, carrier lock, storage, and color.
