Bulk entry

How to add multiple entries to a buy order at once in Restock. Use Add Multiple when you are receiving several devices in the same order and want Restock to create the item rows for you.

Steps​

Add Multiple devices​

  1. Open Buy Orders and create a new buy order, or open an existing draft.
  2. In the Items section, select Add Multiple.
  3. Optionally set Condition and Cost Each — these apply to lookup results and manual entries.
  4. Add IMEI/serial numbers using one of these methods:
    • Select Scan with Camera to scan IMEI barcodes or IMEI text from device screens.
    • Paste or type identifiers into IMEI/Serial Numbers (one per line, or comma-separated).
  5. Select Look Up & Add Devices to check each identifier against your inventory and the IMEI service. Restock groups matching devices and adds them to the order.
  6. Wait for processing. For larger batches, a progress bar shows how many identifiers have been checked.
  7. Review any prompts:
    • If an identifier is already in inventory, Restock shows Items Already in Inventory and does not add it again.
    • If Restock cannot determine the device type, choose the device type or skip those identifiers.
  8. Or enter device details manually (without lookup):
    • Choose Device Type and Quantity.
    • Paste identifiers above if you have them (optional — quantity auto-adjusts).
    • Fill in device details such as brand and model.
    • Add optional repair details if needed.
    • Select Generate Entries.
  9. If Restock finds duplicate identifiers or identifiers already in inventory during manual entry, choose whether to remove conflicts and continue.
  10. Review the new entries, add payment information if needed, then select Save.

Large batch behavior​

For bigger uploads, Restock processes lookups asynchronously and streams live status updates.

  • You may see submission and polling phases before all rows are returned.
  • Successful lookups are still added even if some identifiers fail.
  • Any failures are summarized at completion so you can retry only affected identifiers.
  • Grouped results still follow the same Add Multiple entry flow.

Lookup coverage notes​

  • Apple identifiers use a full Apple lookup plus a clean model/color/storage/FMI pass for better field quality.
  • Non-Apple identifiers use Android-focused lookup services, with Samsung-specific routing (service 8) and Google Pixel routing (service 72) when detected.
  • If blacklist fields are missing from the first Android response, Restock runs an additional GSMA blacklist check automatically.

Tips​

  • Use Look Up & Add Devices when you want Restock to auto-fill brand, model, storage, and other specs from IMEIs.
  • Use Generate Entries when devices share the same specs and you already know the details (gift cards, misc, or when lookup is unavailable).
  • Set condition and cost once at the top before lookup to avoid editing every group afterward.
  • Keep one IMEI or serial number per line when possible — it makes the list easier to review.
  • Always review generated entries before saving, especially condition, cost, carrier lock, storage, and color.
