Mobile device intake

On a phone or desktop, Restock creates buy orders as a 4-step wizard:

  1. Customer — select a customer or skip
  2. Devices — scan / paste / add (one-question intake on phone)
  3. Payment — how you paid
  4. Review — summary, optional notes, create order

Bottom navigation​

On small screens, a fixed bottom bar keeps common tasks one tap away:

  • Buy — new buy order
  • Sell — new sell order
  • Scan — new buy order with intake focused on scan/IMEI
  • Stock — inventory search / lookup

Secondary destinations (repairs, customers, reports, settings) stay in the top hamburger menu.

Desktop layout is unchanged: sidebar and full power forms remain the default for audits, bulk edits, and reporting.

Scan-first items section​

When you reach the Devices step of the buy-order wizard (after Customer), mobile leads with three large actions:

  1. Scan — open the intake wizard (enter or scan an IMEI)
  2. Paste IMEIs — jump to the Add Multiple panel to paste a list and look up
  3. Add manually — one-question wizard (brand → model → storage → … → price)

Intake wizard (one question per screen)​

If IMEI lookup succeeds, you confirm the device, then set condition and price paid.

If lookup fails (or you add manually), Restock asks one field at a time:

Brand → Model → Storage → Carrier → Condition → Color → IMEI → Price

Battery health, serial, and repair details stay on the regular entry card after the device is added (advanced / power path).

Repeat last purchase​

After you successfully add a phone, Restock remembers the specs (not the IMEI or price) on that device.

Next time you tap Add manually, you can choose Previous purchase and only answer:

  • Storage? (change if needed)
  • IMEI?
  • Price?

That is the path aimed at intakes under ~20 seconds for repeated SKUs.
