Creating a quote request link

How to create and share a quote request link with a customer in Restock.

Steps

  1. Go to Quote Requests (from the main navigation or sidebar).
  2. Click New quote request link.
  3. Optionally set an expiry date for the link. If your organization has a default duration (e.g. one week), it will be pre-filled; you can change it or leave it blank so the link never expires.
  4. After the link is created, copy the link using the copy button on the quote request page. Send it to your customer by email, text, or any channel you prefer.
  5. The customer opens the link and fills out the form (contact info and devices they want to sell). They do not need an account.

While the quote is still active (draft, submitted, or negotiating), the link's expiry is automatically extended each time you or the customer visits it, so ongoing conversations keep the link valid. Once the quote reaches a terminal status (accepted, rejected, or converted), the link remains readable but no longer refreshes expiry.
